A: Five-axis machining allows cutting tools to access all five sides of the part in a single setup. This eliminates multiple repositioning, greatly reduces set time, minimizes cumulative errors (improving accuracy), can process highly complex contour/bottom cuts, and can often better optimize optimized tool paths, resulting in higher quality surfaces and longer tool life.
Q2: Can Greatlight be processed with five-axis processing to handle very large capacity production?
A: While the five-axis performs well in its setup advantages in complex parts and low to medium volumes, we can also provide continuous high volume production for complex components, and the unique machining capability can justify it. We evaluate each project as a whole - if large capacity is critical and part geometry allows, we may suggest an optimized multi-axis strategy or complementary manufacturing technique.
Q3: What file format do you accept for reference and processing?
A: We prefer natural 3D CAD formats (e.g. steps, IGES, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, CREO) and 2D graphs (PDF or DWG/DXF). The CAD model defines geometry, while the graphics specify key tolerances, completions, and material annotations.

A: Quality has been embedded in our process. We utilize precision tools, rigid fixes and advanced CNC controls.
